Be a Guest on The Business Hyve Podcast
The Business Hyve Podcast is where strategy meets soul, where small and medium business owners tune in each week for grounded, actionable insights, not generic fluff.
This isn’t just another interview slot. It’s an opportunity to shape the way founders, solopreneurs, and growing teams think about business. If you’re an expert who can offer real guidance backed by years of experience and cross-industry knowledge, I’d love to hear from you.
Who This Is For
You don’t have to be a founder or business owner to be on the show. But you do need to be a proven expert in your field with insights that go deeper than surface-level tips. I’m building a lineup of voices who support the real work of running and growing a business. If that sounds like you, read on.

This podcast is opinion-driven and conversation-based. That means your voice matters and so does your ability to connect.
What’s in It for You

Share your perspective in a trusted space that values depth and nuance
Drive traffic to your content, services, or thought leadership
Strengthen your digital presence through evergreen podcast promotion
If you’re here to pitch a service with no real value to offer or to regurgitate talking points, this isn’t the space for that. But if you’re here to genuinely serve and elevate the business community, welcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the interview?
Episodes typically run 40 to 60 minutes. The conversation is designed to feel natural and valuable, no filler, no fluff. But remember to bring your personality.
Is this a live or pre-recorded interview?
All interviews are pre-recorded and lightly edited before airing. This allows for a more relaxed conversation and ensures sound quality.
Is this an audio or video podcast?
The Business Hyve is primarily an audio podcast, but the interview will be recorded on video as well. While the full video episode won’t be published, short video clips will be created for promotional use on social media and other platforms. By participating, you agree to being recorded on both audio and video for this purpose.
What kind of topics are you looking for?
Topics that support business owners in running, growing, or optimizing their companies. This includes insights in finance, legal, marketing, hiring, customer retention, systems, operations, and more. If you’ve built frameworks, spotted patterns others miss, or have advice that challenges the status quo, this is the place for it.
Do I have to be a founder or entrepreneur?
Not at all. You just need to be an expert in your field with at least 5 years of experience and a strong understanding of how your work impacts small or medium-sized businesses.
Will I be able to promote my services or offers?
Yes, briefly. Toward the end of the interview, I’ll invite you to share how people can stay connected with you. But the main focus is delivering value, not pitching.
What if I don’t meet the social media requirement?
The 2,000 follower minimum helps ensure the episode reaches more people through cross-promotion. If you have a highly engaged email list or another type of community, feel free to mention that in your application. I review each submission carefully.
When will I hear back after applying?
If your application is a fit, you’ll hear from me within 2 weeks. If not, I may hold your submission for future opportunities.
Do I need special equipment?
Yes, a high-quality microphone and a quiet, well-lit recording environment are strongly preferred. You don’t need a full studio setup, but clear audio is non-negotiable and video quality matters. The conversation is recorded on video for promotional snippets, so please use a webcam with decent resolution and make sure your background is distraction-free.
Will I get questions ahead of time?
You’ll receive a prep guide that includes the overall topic direction, a few sample questions, and tips for a smooth conversation. You won’t receive a full list of questions in advance, since the format is designed to feel like a natural, opinion-driven discussion, not a scripted interview. If there are any areas you’d prefer not to discuss, just let me know ahead of time.
Can I share the episode with my audience?
Please do. Guests are expected to promote their episode across at least one platform. I’ll provide you with graphics. vertical videos, links, and promo suggestions to make it easy.
